最近家にwebのことをやってるます。
表現プログラミングより、面白くない。でもウェブのことは簡単に他の人に影響があるからメリットが高い。
表現技術ならゲームに実装してなかったらよく分からない。

だけどweb開発の中には本当にバカなものがある。たとえば…CSS！

CSSを決定した人は頭が悪いしか考えてない。実はそんなものは委員会で決まってるかもしれないから、結果が悪いことを分かってる。
決まってる人は多かったら、結果は一番頭悪いやつレベルの結果ができる。

僕の文句は、大体、規則の不足のこと。プログラミング言語は面倒くさいけど、間違ったらちゃんとエラーがでる。それは大変大事な事だ。  read more »

I've been trying to make a simple web site. A simple entry form with some simple layout in CSS.

CSS is such a piece of crap !!!
Some people will say that it's Microsoft's IE that doesn't render it properly, some will say it's Firefox's fault.

I say it's a ill conceived piece of shit !!!

Some assholes want us to believe we have to drop tables altogether. I think that those people are just idiots.. people with a very low IQ.
Fuck this bullshit, I had enough !!! I MUST use tables, there is no other way to have consistent behavior.. other than having to do nasty tweaks.

The web is broken. Something like PostScript/PDF should take over (for your god's sake, don't let that be Flash !)
Authoring for the web is too much of an hassle, I feel like I'm living in the past, I feel like when I was living in Italy and I knew I had to get out to get into the future....  read more »

I've been very busy ! Too busy to update this blog I guess.
On the train to and from work I read papers. Graphics papers mostly, but also stuff like "Factoring Wavelet Transforms into Lifting Steps" (PDF link !) ...mostly reading and going "whaaaa ???!!!"

At work I've been preparing a PowerPoint presentation.. wooo ! I think of Dilbert every time I say that.

At home I've started to work on a new website. Something that more or less I wanted to do for a while, but also something that could be possibly turn into some sort of business... given enough time and effort 8)

Speaking of building sites, I'm currently mostly involved with CSS. I'm slowly trying to tame the beast.. it doesn't feel right to waste so much time tuning borders, frames and colors, while I could be actually writing down the content... but unfortunately I don't have any web designer friend that could help me with this.
In fact most of my friends hardly ever come with any business idea, in fact most people hardly ever come up with any idea and much less invest any actual time trying to put it to work.  read more »
