Yesterday I spent all night working on an important feature for tokyoclubbers.com. I made a Python script, some sort of spider that reads clubs schedules from a different site and re-formats them for my site (with source properly mentioned at the end of the page 8).

The script is relatively simple, but it took me a long time to just get it to do a few basic things.. because it was my very first Python program !
I didn't have much choices however. It was either doing that or spending a good hour every week to fill in those info by hand. Being a programmer, I find it very frustrating when there is something that I can't automate. Must automate !!! Free humans from slavery... 8)  read more »
