Tokyo
Back from Arizona !

I'm back... ただいま〜! (tadaimaaaaaaaa !)
I arrived Friday afternoon. Bd weather in Tokyo. I decided to take the Limousine Bus because next train was 20 minutes later.
Bad idea, because with the rain came traffic and the bus took a while to eventually take me in front of some hotel, instead than in front of a train station.
Arizona was pretty deserted 8)
People are getting fatter everyday. Japan has this problem with population getting older, USA has this problem with population getting fatter. read more »
Trainz!
Posted October 23rd, 2007 by DuddieWhile iKaz is catching up on nutritious food while enjoying news on CNN and wandering the streets of USA, there are events taking place in Tokyo!!!
As Xinhua agency reports:
"The 7:55 a.m. blackouts, which happened between Nakai Station in Shinjuku district and Toshimaen Station in Nerima district, also forced about 1,300 passengers to be evacuated, Kyodo News reported."
Just wondering if it is the line that gives Davide San troubles all the time!
PS. I really could not resist to mention it :)
PS2. Teasers, bha, bha...
Busy holidays
Posted October 9th, 2007 by DavideVery busy and tired these days: I'm on holiday 8)
My mother and my sister came visit me and I've been taking them around Tokyo for sightseeing and.. shopping (arghhh).
I'm so tired... but I'm also laughing a lot and my apartment is a lot cleaner !
I'm not a big fan of holidays. The concept of having to go places, having to do things. I find that stressful, useless.
I think I'm gaining weight too, cause of course, you don't want to take people around and put them on a diet.. so much food to try !
ahhhhhh
P.S. After writing this I realized that I didn't have my digital camera with me and eventually went back to some shop where I had dinner to luckily get it back.. bhaaaaa !!!!!!!
Predictable stuff: relatioships
Posted June 30th, 2007 by DavideToday is a great day, because I finally got over my current relationship.
Great but not so great. I have a "dog personality" and I tend to get attached to people. I wish them their best, but at the same time, there is always a situation in which the other person has doubts and maybe goes too far and then it's basically over. Because I live by relatively strong morals, I never cheated, I don't ever plan to do it. Even if I don't like someone that much anymore I still try to give my best (though faking your best isn't quite the same thing).
I hold no grudge, I just want to get over with it. Men, especially those living in Japan, are a lucky bunch. It's definitely not a harem, but it's also very possible to get young cuties !
Living in the center of Tokyo surely has it's influence. If I feel sad, I can just get out and watch hundreds of cute girls showing off. read more »
Tokyo Clubbers
Posted June 3rd, 2007 by DavideEven since I came to Tokyo almost 6 years ago now, I wished that there was a site that would tell me about clubs around here.
It's hard to find out what goes on in the city without some experience. It's hard to pick places to go, and one can find himself or herself, facing some surprises.. some places can be really peculiar.
Tokyo club guides for foreigners are very few, actually the only one I ever really used is Tokyo Club Guide from www.cyberjapan.tv. The site is great, but it's not necessarily very up to date and I just want to do my own thing, as usual 8)
So, I started this TokyoClubbers.com. It's very much a draft and I'm not sure how far I'll go, but it's a good way to gather some info that I may come handy to someone.

I finally managed to get my commute pass on my Pasmo. I had to select a new commuter pass and insert the existing Pasmo card at the right time. It wasn't that easy to figure out.. !
Pasmo is based on FeliCa RFID technology which can be used also as a digital wallet. My Vaio even has a FeliCa port by which I suppose that I could buy stuff online.. although I doubt I'll ever charge it more than it's worth for buying train trips and a few groceries. read more »
Where do you want to live today ?
Posted April 17th, 2007 by DavideFollow the links and be the judge 8)
The images in the links are obviously very biased, exaggerated representations but, at the same time, that list of livable cities is bullshit !
