Today is a great day, because I finally got over my current relationship.

Great but not so great. I have a "dog personality" and I tend to get attached to people. I wish them their best, but at the same time, there is always a situation in which the other person has doubts and maybe goes too far and then it's basically over. Because I live by relatively strong morals, I never cheated, I don't ever plan to do it. Even if I don't like someone that much anymore I still try to give my best (though faking your best isn't quite the same thing).

I hold no grudge, I just want to get over with it. Men, especially those living in Japan, are a lucky bunch. It's definitely not a harem, but it's also very possible to get young cuties !
Living in the center of Tokyo surely has it's influence. If I feel sad, I can just get out and watch hundreds of cute girls showing off.  read more »

I've been very busy ! Too busy to update this blog I guess.
On the train to and from work I read papers. Graphics papers mostly, but also stuff like "Factoring Wavelet Transforms into Lifting Steps" (PDF link !) ...mostly reading and going "whaaaa ???!!!"

At work I've been preparing a PowerPoint presentation.. wooo ! I think of Dilbert every time I say that.

At home I've started to work on a new website. Something that more or less I wanted to do for a while, but also something that could be possibly turn into some sort of business... given enough time and effort 8)

Speaking of building sites, I'm currently mostly involved with CSS. I'm slowly trying to tame the beast.. it doesn't feel right to waste so much time tuning borders, frames and colors, while I could be actually writing down the content... but unfortunately I don't have any web designer friend that could help me with this.
In fact most of my friends hardly ever come with any business idea, in fact most people hardly ever come up with any idea and much less invest any actual time trying to put it to work.  read more »

As Mr.Duddie noticed, I've scanned a few pages from the April edition of Woman magazine !
I obviously don't buy those magazines, but so it happens that I had that magazine laying around my apartment.

It's interesting how the magazine gives hints on how to dress, how to bow, where to look at, how to answer, even how to smile !

It may seem weird, but I somewhat agree with the concept of getting hints on how to behave. Everyone at one time or another doesn't realize how he or she is making a mistake. Some people stink, some have bad breath, some people have bad habits but don't realize that.  read more »

Yesterday my round of group discussions closed down. It was an interesting experience. I participated in four sessions with groups formed by 5 to 8 people. Most men but also surprisingly 4 women ! Women did very good on average and were also quite good looking !! Of course that didn't get in the way of the judgment, but I was surprised to see so many of them. Also, two were pretty determined and actually took leading roles in the discussions.
I think it would have been interesting to see them in the same group, to see how they would have handled each-other 8)

There are quite a few females in my company (business company 8( ) if compared to other game companies.. the size of the company makes a difference as bigger companies handle more paperwork and more art assets, and women tend to fill those spots, but also I think that there is a specific interest in hiring females.  read more »
