Busy holidays

Davide's picture

Very busy and tired these days: I'm on holiday 8)
My mother and my sister came visit me and I've been taking them around Tokyo for sightseeing and.. shopping (arghhh).

I'm so tired... but I'm also laughing a lot and my apartment is a lot cleaner !

I'm not a big fan of holidays. The concept of having to go places, having to do things. I find that stressful, useless.

I think I'm gaining weight too, cause of course, you don't want to take people around and put them on a diet.. so much food to try !

ahhhhhh

P.S. After writing this I realized that I didn't have my digital camera with me and eventually went back to some shop where I had dinner to luckily get it back.. bhaaaaa !!!!!!!

Marketing Issues

I love bullshit language used by marketoids and public relation drones... above article is a good example of this... starts with:
"Ticket gates at hundreds of Tokyo subway and rail stations broke down on Friday, giving many of the city's millions of commuters a free ride to work."

And then they say:

Tokyo Metro said the glitches were gradually being repaired.

Amazing.... TheGlitches(TM)

Yeah, that reminds me of a

Yeah, that reminds me of a funny formula 1 cartoon i saw once on the internet. Where Jean Todt of Ferrari was explaining why they had to retire from a Grand Prix race.

"Why did you retire?"
"We had a hydraulics failure on the car that lead to a malfunction of various systems and we had to retire from the race."

"Why did the hydraulics failed?"
"The electrical system malfunctioned."

"Why did the electrics malfunctioned?"
"The alternator stopped turning."

"Why did it stop turning?."
"The engine stopped."

"Why did the engine stop?"
"We were out of gas...."
