Relationship-Master Kaz, let's switch some words here:
"I'm saying that no matter how great of a guy one meets, it's hard to say: 'ok, this is the last relationship I'm going to have'."
This can be the woman's point of view. She can also take you for granted and start to look elsewhere ... and this could happen while you're still thinking she's a really great person. If it hasn't happened to you yet, eventually it will. It's just how the statistics work.
No one is perfect and (I suppose) one can keep chasing "new" things only to get old and discover that there's actually nothing really "new" in and of itself. Eventually your age will become a self-limiter in that (unless the woman is seeking some kind of material benefit from you), she won't take too much interest.
Perhaps it's just better to stay single and be friends and that way, you'll be completely free to pursue your interests and not have to worry about "M" ghosts haunting you or other pressures and obligations. You can still make acquaintances with new people. Staying single seems like the ideal option in this case.
