SHLight 2004
Posted August 12th, 2007 by Davide

This is a simple demo I realized to test one way to use Spherical Harmonics for lighting, and that I attached to my resume when looking for jobs a while ago.
The file linked to the picture is an installer for Windows.
It pretty much requires Windows XP and some sort of OpenGL support.
Enjoy !

It's a big relief to know that the demo ran on your system !
..your setting usually has a pretty low threshold for bullshit 8)
The demo is actually interactive. One can stop it, use the mouse, drag in different .3DS and .HDR (cubemap cross format) files.
There is also some sort of shell and some keys to bring it up, hide it.. I don't remember very well (^^;)
One can record his/her own demo and play it back later.. supposedly.. but it always starts with the same demo file, so it's better to override the original one, ehhhhhhhh
whatever 8)
I remember seeing that demo
I remember seeing that demo a couple of years ago also. but maybe you should japanitize it by swapping the woman model with some food!
