Tokyo Clubbers
Even since I came to Tokyo almost 6 years ago now, I wished that there was a site that would tell me about clubs around here.
It's hard to find out what goes on in the city without some experience. It's hard to pick places to go, and one can find himself or herself, facing some surprises.. some places can be really peculiar.
Tokyo club guides for foreigners are very few, actually the only one I ever really used is Tokyo Club Guide from www.cyberjapan.tv. The site is great, but it's not necessarily very up to date and I just want to do my own thing, as usual 8)
So, I started this TokyoClubbers.com. It's very much a draft and I'm not sure how far I'll go, but it's a good way to gather some info that I may come handy to someone.

bah.... how about health
bah.... how about health clubs?
I doubt there is much to say
I doubt there is much to say about them.. sign up and you are done 8)
There is much to say. If I
There is much to say. If I was to review health clubs. I'd make note of how much space they have, what machines and equipment, what time they open, how busy they are and during what time of the day, membership fees, is the staff annoying or helpful, etc etc...
I see.. then maybe you
I see.. then maybe you should open a health club site ;)
In Tokyo there are only 2-3 major companies that handle the business. They own different gyms in different areas, but people tend to go to the closest gym anyway.. since the service is pretty much the same.
I don't think there is much of a point of making a site specifically for health clubs in Tokyo, especially not in English.
No, I think health clubs
No, I think health clubs suck too.
I was just trying to make a point about healthy and unhealthy interests!
Maybe a chess or a book club????
Points
ahh OK.. i suspected you were tying to make that point 8)
Well.. clubs can be healthy.. sometimes one goes to events where he or she likes the music and just dances without drinking too much.
Otherwise.. maybe it's better to stay home and code, or use the clubbing experience to make a site about it ;)
